Lol ya I hopefully pasturized my coir ok....I put it on the stove got it up to 190 for 5 mins in my pressure cooker. Put the lid on turned it on high for about 2 mins then covered and let it sit over night...

hhmmmm, i used to put my coir in the microwave. That did the trick. Did you package the coir in anything?

Nah it was just in my pressure cooker.....It has an airtight lid so air cant get in it hopefully. But no I didnt put it in anything.

lol no I do my clean work in my kitchen cuz there is no air flow really. But ya I didnt sterilize my coir I just pastureized it....I have heard that sterilizing is bad cuz it takes away the good bacteria from the coir which helps fight off contams.

i think you're right about that. What I meant by sterilization in the post above urs is the area around the glovebox. I would make a day of sterilization and everything. It was probably a bit overkill. But after you have 50 FULL quart jars of contaminated goo that you had disposed of cause you wanted to save the jars, you'd overkill everything in future grows too. man that was terrible. I stopped up my toilet. it got so bad i had to shit in the sink. that was right around rock bottom. i look back and laugh. i wasn't then.

 1 day after spawning...My girlfriend put the coir on and left a little uncovered  oh well haha I couldnt cuz of my finger. But she said that patch looks like it has grown.
 Another spot.

When i used poo i would mix up the colonized rye and the poo real good, rather than layering them. An entire tub would be colonized in 3 days. So hopefully this just helps it speed up. YOu can already see new growth from those spots.

Is that a good thing? It doesn't look like it's going to produce much, but i've never grown them before and know not about cultivating. Do you think you'll get a decent yield? What is a decent yield in a monotub?

I think it's supposed to colonise the coco noir. There's more mycellium under the coco I think.
