+quieter ones are more relaxing.

they make a little bit of noise but they aren't too loud. if your gona get a vape i wouldn't waste money on anything else

The Volcano has a separate ON position for the fan that fills the vapor bag... so when you're not actually filling the bag, the thing is totally silent (save for maybe a very small click when the heating element turns on or off). When the fan is on (which only takes about 10 - 30 seconds to fill a bag size depending), it's still not any louder than a normal computer with its fans buzzing.
If you want a totally quiet vaporizer that you can leave plugged in 24/7 pulling less than 10 watts (the rough equivalent of two night lights)... you might also want to consider the MyrtleZap or the Purple Days. The Volcano will be better for group experience, as it can produce larger quantities of vapor (when using more weed, of course). But when it comes strictly to personal use, the completely silent vape's like the Aromazap and Purple Days are my preference and they're less expensive.
