so my 12/12 is early in the morning around 6 and i wanted to change that for convince. is there a safe way to do this?

Have done this twice before. Had to change the time to less hotter time of day.One time in the plants life want hurt.IMO.
To make a plant go herme I would think would take a lot more stress than that.
All I can say is it worked for me.

i wouldnt have the lights be on later than the suns out as the heat of the day interferes with infared,but if u must just make sure that they still get atleast 12 hours of darkness when u change it thats most important

I think you would be better off giving the plants an extra 6 hours of darkness rather than 6 hours of light.

i had to do this with last grow. Dont worry about it just flip em. like ojom said 6 hours of darkness is better than 6 hours of light, you dont want them stressing trying to go back to veg, the extra darkness is no big deal.

Yeah, think about how it is in nature. Something might fall on the plant or it might be really cloudy. They plant's learned to deal with it over history. But it's not designed to deal with there suddenly being sunlight when there wasn't the day previous.
