im going to buy my self a new guitar soon and am stuck between getting a 69 fender telecaster or a gibson sg wut do u think would b a better buy

depends on what sound you're going for. a 69 fender tele is gonna be very very expensive if you're buying the real thing, and if you're not buying the real thing, you're getting ripped off. go with the sg. I play a les paul and the sound out of the two humbuckers sounds golden...plus you can still get that strat sound (kinda) if your toggle switch is in the right position

i checked the fender website it said the 69 tele was only 880 nd i love the twangy sound a tele will give you

I'd say the telecaster because I think the SG is more limited in capabilities but there are a lot of different SG's so I guess it depends on which you go for. I always thought the SG Voodoo was beeaautiful
but I'd still pick a Les Paul over those two any day of the week

yeah SG's are pretty much metal guitars but that voodoo is just puurrdy. the wood and inlay are awesome and besides voodoo is evil and i'm extremely attracted to evil things for some reason.. not like stupid death and darkness goth kid spikes and horns shit but like beautiful seductive old school satanic evil. like the blues. and led zeppelin.
like.. i fucking love satan. or just the concept of satan really since I don't believe in that theology. not a horned beast in flames of hell, but like that dark and mysterious figure you meet on an abandoned dirt road in the middle of nowhere. i like that satan embodies a complete contrast to the truly bad people like those who do evil things in the name of god. music is inside of me and satan was the angel of music. satan is beauty and seduction. plus liking satan is just different and change is the spice of life. i dont know what im talking about really. i want to sell my soul.

syd barretts mirror disk tele is buitiful
and claptons sg is buitiful to but im going to buy a 69 tele bc there about 1000 bucks cheaper than an sg
