 Hurting from smoking

so recently whenever i get done chiefing, i feel a sharp pain in my lower abs on my right side......last summer i had the same problem but it was on my left side. After that, i quit in the winter and it went away but when i started back up, it came back again. Anyone else ever experience this or kno what causes it??? Thanks
