How are you guys all doing.. Im new but not new to growing at all, I have a question for you guys about growrooms
If I was gonna install c02 what would I want to use as far as pump wise. I have a grow room that I'm building under my house and am going to wire 2 1000 watt hps lights and my next plan is to install co2 what would be a good method to use thanks - DT
The 2 most effective, controllable methods are a co2 tank with a 0-60psi regulator that is equipped with an electric solenoid for on/off(so you can hook it up to a timer). That setup usually runs $200-$300 with a 20lb co2 tank. Otherwise, Co2 generators that run on propane or natural gas are great to, but can generate heat, and it you dont have a means of evacuating that heat, can cause problems. Less controllable methods are dry ice or vinagar and baking soda. These are usually only effective in small areas and take a lot of upkeep. Not to mention that the dry ice method gets fairly expensive. Here are some links for a tank setup, and are the best prices I found while looking.
