i live on the mid-atlantic, and its about mid may so i figured its maybe a little late, but im gonna plant some marijuana seeds. i digged a few patches in the ground and filled it with some basic flower and veg. soil from the market.i planted about seven seeds total (more female then males)about a inch to 1/2 inch deep in the soil. im gonna water every couple days about and hope for the best. the seeds are planted about a foot apart each. ill be happy with any bud at all because i know i didnt do anything too extreme. im just wondering what you guys think the results will be, and how long it should be about until i should pick the buds.
(more female then males), did you happen to get feminized seeds?, cuz thats the only for sure way to know brah. in my younger days i tried that shit all the time and never really had too much good luck with it. Transplant! get the seedlings started first its always a good thing to do. using basic potting soil is good when you add ur own shit but it sounds like you used 2 kinds and you didnt say what brand or what type of flowering soil it was. Some soils are made for flowers with a higher acidic tolerance, and will burn the weed plants. so my advice is, regrow a few seedlings and transplant them into your spot. use some time released tomato fertilizer in the soil and use some upside down pop bottles for watering inbetween watering. Kill all your males when you start to notice little ball like pods on it, the females will have hairs. Your gonna have to take care of these plants for months so plan ahead. ALWAYS PLAN AHEAD! thats the most important rule with growing weed, its a patience and time game my friend. pick that shit when the thc crystals start to turn an amber color.
yes i used a basic soil (on the package it said for both veggies and flowers), i guess i cant really be too sure which seeds are male or female but ive planted about 13 seeds total so far in seperate different places on my land. hopefully ill see something positive from all of those. they arent really far apart, i just want smaller palnts to get some free bud off of eventually lol.
