timing problem - some plants way ahead
    #210663 -

so i'm having an issue - i have a table full of plants that are starting to get overgrown, a bunch of newer stuff in pots of coco that are almost vegged enough but not quite yet, and an aero cloner full of cuts that aren't rooted yet.

i need to figure out how to get everything even with each other.  i figure i have to flower the new clones as soon as they are rooted, and the newest clones are cuts im going to take today from the overgrown table.  my aero only has space for 15 more cuts, so i think i'm gonna have to get plugs or something (i have another aero, but i really dont wanna bust it out right now).  i've done rockwool before, didnt like it much, but whats  the dif in rooting times between rapid rooters / rockwool / whatever else?

im gonna move the coco plants up closer to the lights to get them vegging faster, and hopefully my clones root up fast.  i guess the biggest question in this thread is how to get rooted clones as fast as possible....i dunno im rambling and flustered because my grow is all over the place...SHIT

seems like you got a little ahead of yourself and your grow is overgrowing your setup. i recommend not rushing your clones as they are susceptible to changing environment and could easily die on you.
As for your other questions it was kind of a rambling :P but i think your best solution is investing in more lights and having 2 different schedules, that will increase your YPY.
I think once they are all on different schedules there aint too much you can do.

I can relate. Most of my clones died from drying out from a fan. Now must make more clones. Already 2 months in veg.

Looks like I'll be growing in June, bummer. The temperature here is a bitch. The a/c will never stop running.

looks like im gonna hang up a 400w hps in my closet to run during the flower room's dark period, and maybe 100w of cfls to run in the closet during the flower room's light period.  dedicated veg space to hold things over so i can throw the overgrown stuff into flower.  i would run the closet with better lighting/schedule but i'm already running 1200w plus all the associated stuff in my flower room, on a 15 amp circuit (which you cant put over 1440w of draw on for more than 3 hours)

a solution to your wattage problem could be solved my a small gas generator.

since my flower room and closet are located inside my bedroom, i dont think that's a feasible option.  at some point i will probably upgrade to a 20a breaker (pending checking out the wiring gauge) but until then i need to work within my 1440 sustained-watt limit.

Run a 14/12 gauge extension cord into your room from a another circuit not being used, problem solved
