Why is my plant so small? (It kinda looks like a lowryder)
    #190771 -

I'm using 3 warm white cfls and 3 cool white cfls.. each 26 watts = 156 watts

The plant is from a seed I got from some weed i smoked in puerto vallarta mexico (the weed was AMAZING)

anywho, my plant has been pollinated (I started with two plants, one male..its been chopped down), mostly by accident but I'm just curious as to why it is so small, its only about a foot maybe a foot and a half tall , I bent the top over and tied it down around 1 month into growing

the plant is currently 2 months old, one month of vegetative one month of flowering

and I dunno if you can see the swollen calyx's in the pictures that well but can anyone give an estimate into when they think it'll be done (the calyx's are swollen and almost popping open)

It is probably a fast 6week finishing strain to begin with, and you pollinated it, which will cause it to mature faster, giving you less yield.  It still looks like it could go another week of growth and then flush nutes for a week.  Colored hairs aren't much of a signifier of when the plant is done when you pollinate it since pollinated pistils will quickly turn color.  That is a beautiful plant, it will get bigger.

Because you only vegged it for 1 month, because you're only giving it 156 watts worth of light, and possibly because of strain, but if you got it in Mexico that shouldn't be the case.

Did you have to change the light cycle before seeing signs of flowering? It might be a LR cross or a autoflowering strain. How tall is it?

It was only about a foot tall

The light schedule was on 12/12 for about a week before I saw any signs of flowering...

I chopped her down, unfortunately I got WAY more seeds than I had hoped, a pretty lousy yield

but the dope is phenomenal and I have around 100 seeds to keep going

you should aim for at least 8 weeks of flowering next time around

My friend, plant 20 seeds this time, and try and grow outdoors this summer. (If you have a pretty secure back yard and a couple of big pots, with a lot of sun, and a good climate, thank GOD I have all of the above.) Use a 400watt light for every square metre of space.
Take two plants, grow them for a month in vegitative state, and put them in flowering under the small light you are using now. Leave it for 8 weeks in flowering, and then harvest those, now you have some bud to smoke while you wait for the rest of your plants, veg them for at least 3 months, and then put them into flowering, after 6 weeks of flowering, harvest over the course of 4-5 weeks, and then you will have a variety of different highs and stones to smoke.
