Ah, yes, another "My first plant" thread... One of those that makes your ass pucker with joy and let's you reminisce on your very own first grow. Lovely. So lovely... 
Anyway - out of an almost unsuccessful season I managed to get one very sticky, very dense, girl out of the deal.
Planted back in early June, fed her general Miracle Grow "deep feeding" fertilizer along with a dash of Super Thrive once a week for 4-5 weeks during her growth spurt. She finished kinda' early, which was almost disappointing, probably due to trees shading her from direct light at about 6:00pm, and maybe the hormone in the Super Thrive, AND along with the threat that this year's grasshoppers gave it... Fuckers.
But either way, the day came to have her sweet sticky buds finally harvested - although I wish she would have lasted another month or so, but I'm definitely happy with the result anyway.
Smallish - around sub 5ft.
19 full lateral branches & a long ass 24" cola.
7.5oz (210g) dry
Nice musky yet sweet smell, +50% ambered pistils, and more trichomes than I could shake a stick at.
Upon flash drying some with a room heater, I rolled a spliff, and got blown away! Very impressed with the strain. Strong with a well balanced social/body high. Hardly made me sleepy, kept me up for hours. 
Anyway, thanks for looking and here's a bunch of pretty big pics for you all to bust a nut to!

wanna smoke me out hahahah
sweet buds i want to know the dry weight man that shit looks good can you get a close up on the trichomes of the trimmed bud?

Looks great. Can't go wrong crossing a great strain like NL with some haze genetics either. I can see why.

Mmmm... hash... Next growing season I'm totally investing in some Bubble Hash bags. I've been nosing around websites for any clone product. Is there any CHEAPER bags? Because DAMN. Bubble hash ftw, but the bags are crappily priced. I don't want to want to afford that. lol...
Yeah, the Northern Lights strain is apparently pretty "fluffy" weed, the trichomes extend far out onto the leaves, that's why it doesn't exactly look fully trimmed - even though it is.
Weighed it this morning, and I got about 7.5 ounces out of the plant. What if it was able to get another month in....?! 
Next year will be great. Need more seeeedssss....
Oh and btw - I've been taking pictures of it, I'll get around to getting some on here.... I've just been super high. Hasn't felt this good to smoke in a long time.

hahahha nice. bubble bags are very expensive but its porbly the best and most effective way. i dont think there are cheaper one i would check out ebay if you want a deal.

There are cheap alternatives. Get pool strainer bags, they should come in a variety of micron sizes similar to bubble bags.

my dad over in canada has a cola that is that big if not bigger i wish i had a camera to show you guys here at the growery but cant go to canada due to my probation for some reason it doesnt give off much of a smell but the plant is resined to the max but i do say that is a very nice palnt you got there hope you enjoy every toke.

Actually, I think its the Haze that is bringing the fluffy bud traits into the mix. Anyways, Northern Lights x Haze sounds like an awesome cross, and it definitely looks like it as well!  What breeder did those seeds?

Yeah, you know like the blue nets you use to strain leaves and shit out of a pool? They're usually on the end of a long pole but you can buy just the bags separately.
