Any way I can turn off The Thunderdome? Most of the airholes and asshats are on my ignore list, but I'd like to just turn off that whole topic, I have no interest in reading "Chainsaw in the cunt" http://www.growery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/189753#189753 or 99% of the other crap that goes on there. (Or on most of the rest of the site, really. No desire to read 'nigger', 'bitch', 'motherfucker', those aren't weed-friendly words in these parts. )
Yeah, I could leave and never come back. I was hoping there was a less extreme option.

It's not about prudishness, and I didn't click it. I did hover over it to see if the post was on-topic to the title, saw the pic, didn't click. I assumed it was a fake pic, though you never know around here.
But you aren't yet on my Ignore list- though you are close. But if a couple of rowdies chase away all the cool people (maybe I'm cool, maybe I'm not... but Anna is, I think we all agree) then what's left? The Coastery, right?

I am sure there are a lot of issues keeping everyone very busy right now. Especially considering you all work on donated time. But an idea came to my mind that I thought I would share.
How about sharing the boards. For example what looks to be a sub forum on the shroomery saying "Marijuana Discussion" or something of the sort, but when they open it they are linked to the growery and the "Marijuana" Section, and vice versa for the shroomery to the mushroom cultivation section.
This suggestion was borne out of a mild confusion on the purpose of this site. With the blending of the user DB, news service, and supporters it appears that these two sites are sisters more than anything. So are these two sites going to be 2 independent entities or a continuation of one community?There is not currently a feature available to ignore individual topics, but I believe it may be possible for me to remove your access to the Thunderdome sub-forum, which will cause it to disappear from your view (will need to verify with Ythan on this, as you may just regain access after logging out and back in again). For main forums, you can press the icon in the top right corner of the forum index and then when you hover over each forum, you'll notice a icon in the top right corner of the "Last post" cell. Click that and it will remove the forum from your list.

It wasn't about your thread, just the whole idea. I come here to grow weed, smoke weed, and hang out with cool people.
I am not interested in shock pics, scat porn, people posting nugs they won't share, or people harrassing other members- especially the only woman.
Anna's titties were nice, but posting them without her permission, not very nice. In real life, the dude that did that to the only girl in the smoking circle would get pummeled. Driving away females, that's... gay.
I made hash because of what I read here, and it was great- people loved it. I'd hate to have to leave a site like this because of a few people.
