Oh yeah. I was raised my my grandmother for the first 9 years. She believed those things were an important part of treating every illness. They will clean ya right out in a hurry. That's for sure.

Opiates seem to work well for a while. lol As for kidding, I wish. This was the mid 70's and grandma was old school. Enemas, Castor oil, ice baths etc... You tried mighty hard not to get sick in that house because she would certainly fix ya.
