It exists and has since at least the 50's or maybe early 60's. I've read of Hoffman making it in the Sandoz lab but I don't know if he was the first or anything of it's availability.

I was up at 9 and just layed around went back to sleep.
I needed it only sleeping 2 to 4 hours a day lately.
