Going back to the doc tomorrow, but in the meantime what can I do? I have some of that purple drank...Obviously doesn't help with fever, but makes me feel better. I took 3 tylenol, and my fever actually went from 102.8 to 103.5 and I didn't let the thing finish reading it was going too high...Couldn't take it.

No shit temps over 103 can cause lots of damage to retinas and other problems aswell.

Yea not going...It's at 103.7
I think temps over 107 can cause brain damage, but I feel confident that I'll be fine...If I get to feeling worse I will go.

Well if you are going to be stubborn like me the a very cold, maybe even ice bath and someone to keep an eye on you if you stop thinking correctly is in order now.

If ur ballsie enough a ice bath will break a fever aswell.
Its used alot in hospital regularly for high fevers.

Eh I'm still at my parents for the holidays...I think they will check up on me. I had a scare with a STAPH infection where it almost killed me...Not literally, but a few more days with no treatment and it could have done damage.
I think they know to check me out.

OK after refreshing my faulty knowledge on that one you should be OK until your appointment. Cool bath may help ya feel better for a bit though.

103+ should be watched carefully. take some ibuprofen and drink water. I had a fever of 102.5 new years day and it sucked.

This is a pediatric page but very informative and makes good simple sense. Seems the biggest concern is the cause of the fever over the fever itself.

Damn, get better...I havent had a fever of a 103 since I was 15 with a bad flu. I felt like shit, I am so happy even when a lot of people are very sick I dont get nearly as sick as them.
But I love weed when I am sick, it makes me eat more and it helps me cope with it more.
