I get way too into the competitive aspect of video games ... online RPG's and shooters seem to be my weakness 
I haven't played any video games long enough to suck at them all so I should be fine

there is no official release date
it's been in production for 3+ years
blizz likes to take their time to produce a quality product
i'd guesstimate anywhere from jan-july 2010 for d3
sc2 will be first quarter 2009

el diablo 3 release is still unknown I believe
but check out the offical website, bliazzrd supposly paid someone close to 30,000 $ for his domain now its diablolll.com or sum shit
they have oodles of info on the game/series/new shit

actually, i might be off on that
i know sc2 BETA is first quarter 09
they are releasing the game in 3 installments, starting with the terran campaign
of course you will have all the features and multiplayer from the first installment, the other 2 only add singleplayer campaigns
