i went up to big bear on monday to board w/ mah homies
ended up getting like almost 2 feet of snow 
so they closed all the roads and we had to stay over night
so we got another day of boarding on one trip 
we got so fucked up in our hotel room, so fun
there was so much fresh pow it was ridiculous. anybody in socal i def recommend hitting up big bear this week. it's supposed to be gettin dumped right now too 
i'm gonna get good use out of my season pass

I love snowboarding, I have just been broke lately and unable to go. But now that I live out West I should have no problems finding good mountains

Damn I wanna go boarding. My very first time we had a blizzard that dumped a fresh 38". Never had a chance at conditions even close to that again since. Spoiled me aside from the fact that we were camping out of a van. That was one cold fucking 3 days.

we weren't planning on having to stay over night, but my friend's aunt or something has a cabin up there, so next time we go we got a free place to stay

Funny thing about us camping in a van that first time I went and got hit with a blizzard. Several nice hotels offered to let us stay for free when they heard we were camping to make sure we were safe and out of the weather. We thanked them but stayed in the van anyway. We had come for adventure, found more than we expected but was determined to stick it out as planned for the experience factor. We did and created some memories that will last me forever.

haha nice way to sack it up
we got hit in a blizzard last year in mammoth, 4 feet of snow in 1 day
but we were nice and toasty shrooming in the cabin!
i was waiting FOREVER for this one branch to accumulate enough snow to fall, but it never happened
