chunkyglasspipes.com has done me right.

glassartplus.com is another in the states. Very cheap but i wasnt happy at all with quality.

shivadas.com has heady ass pipes. Prices range from reasonable to insane. Some of it is more art than an actual piece. They are advertised on hightimes.com never placed an order but i might soon.

I love heady pipes. That one sold for $399.95. The artist usually only makes one and then makes a few similar ones. There are some nice heady pipes around $100. The really crazy ones range from like $250-1000.

I know it takes hours. I think some artists might spend an entire day on a piece of glass.

thats fucking awesome. spend all day doing something you love and make 400.00 plus for it. if you made 10 pipes a month and sold 5 at an average of 300.00 each that would be 1500.00 a month for doing maybe 100 hours of work on something you love to do.

Yea but its a very expensive trade. I read Meditations from the Joint by Tommy Chong and he talked about his business. Upkeep on those places is expensive. They also need to keep producing heat all day long which isnt cheap. He said in his book he would break even after hours of work. Then the law fucked him over for being a head shop. Also some of those nice ass pipes sit on the market until there is a buyer with the $$$. It would be a fun job to have but its not reliable  :shrug:

lets think about this for a sec. the wood stock was a huge deal in the 70's. they made a show based from the 70's called That 70's Show. wouldnt you think they would make at least one show based on or about the wood stock on That 70's show?

I don't like those colorful pieces, yes they do have a wonderful sense of art to them but I like all my pieces to be clear so I can see who is taking a bitch hit and who is manning up. :grin: plus I just like to watch the smoke. :bongload:

Actually I remember that episode. The thing was called 'vanstock' , I'm pretty sure it wasn't meant to be woodstock, just some festival they went to.
