DWC
    #161775 - 12/13/08 03:47 PM (7 years, 11 months ago)

I Have a 2 gal 6 pot DWC system using TechnaFlora Recipe for success nute kit. My plants first pair of fan leaves have what seems to be a Mg deficiancy. they have yellowing and brwon spotting starting from the leave tips. but the most recent leves are looking nice and green but they curl under (maybe Iron def)

im trying to figure out how to adjust the nutes to compensate for the deficiency
i have a shitty strip pH tester which seems to be working but no TDS or PPm meter

cool man welcome to growery I also am doing DWC.  what brands/items are you using specifically?
whats your pH at right now, or what does it say your pH is?

rockwool?
peat?
coir?
hydroton?

this ought to be moved to DR DIAGNOSIS as would be its correct place for this topic...

got any pictures you can share? pictures tell many words.

did you condition the rockwool?

from what i heard rockwool tends to have a very high pH if not rinsed well before use and can spike above 8
