I joined this place expecting more people to have migrated from the Shroomery...Hasn't happened.

I think a lot of people think websites like the Shroomery develop overnight. They dont. The Shroomery has been around 10+ years. I think it will take at least 2-3 years for this forum to develop a fair amount of traffic. But I think it will surpass the popularity of the Shroomery eventually. Just because marijuana use is more widespread and more accepted than psychedelics.

That's me. I want to go back to school. Between work and family I don't have the time to devote to it. Maybe later in life. I shouldn't have been such a dumbass when I was younger. Party party party and make the money. That and chics wuz life.

Oh I know I have been browsing that site for 4-5 years before I even joined...But still I would figure some of those members would have found their way here at least. Some of us did, but most didn't.
Anyway, I'm going to start promoting the site.

Very true. I whine about it being slow myself but actually it's doing pretty good to be as new as it is. There will come a day when we are complaining about there being too many noobs asking tons of dumb questions that have been answered 5 million times.
At least the group that is here now are likeable posters. I personally wasn't to0 thrilled in the beginning when it seemed for a bit it was destined to become another OTD.

That is true enough. I see so many marijuana related threads there still and wonder why more of them are not brought over here instead. People get comfortable with where they are at I guess. I'm guilty of that to. Lately I've been purposely looking for something to post about or respond to here to help increase traffic a bit. Even if it's just a little idle chit chat. That's what most my posts are anyway. lol
