chlorophyl rinses out better with warm water I believe. Maybe it's for other shit though.
I've always done warm water with my water cures.

i saw a loss of product using warm water.
i've watched the trichomes go from being greenish coloured to blonde by washing with 2 gallons of cold ass distilled water. shaking it around as you go.

the explaination I got was basically you may lose some weight but you will retain most trichomes thus making water cured weed stronger and not effecting the yield of hash.

you would water cure with warm water, let dry/freeze then make hash with ice cold water
