I don't think in china they regulate forum postings or chat, well maybe they do but only when your doing something bad.

They don't really care unless you openly "trash talk" the Chinese government, i.e. post a blog concerning the recent issues in Tibet saying that the Chinese government violated many of the Tibetan activists' civil rights/liberties.
