Okay, here is my latest mushroom grow... if you guys remember my last grow, I still used the R-44 strain here as well...
It's a great producer for me, and I like them!
Check out the pinsets in both my 45 gallon mono set ups

If I had to guess, I would say maybe 45 pounds... Not sure really... I don't measure it out, I just kind of eyeball it.

R-44 comes from Ralphsters spores. I am not sure the exact origin of the strain, but it came highly recommended from a few people.
a very aggressive grower, and fast producing fruits. resists contams well.
Potency is very good for a cube. I was REALLY impressed with them.
People I have shared these with have eaten 2 grams and had the best trip they have ever had. so that speaks for itself for me...
My substrate is comprised of coco coir, vermiculite, uncooked coffee grounds, worm castings, and quail turds and pigeon shit.
It seems to work out well it the amounts I use, but like I said to the other guy, I don't really measure it out...
The sub depth is probably about 3 inches thick...
Some say the deeper the better, I say go with what works for you.

okay, so I figure the first tub is ready to be harvested, but I'm going to let the other one sit for a day or so... it seems really funky, like something happened, or is happening in there... not enough air? humidity? I don't know, but none the less, here are some photos
I'll post more after I harvest the first tub...

okay, well, I didn't take any photo's of the actual harvest, cuz I hadn't the time or the hands to snap photos, but here you will see my drying set up...
I have 11 layers of mushrooms on filters between 2 fans.
I'm guessing around 9 dry ounces or so...
Oh yeah, this was only from the first tub... I am letting the second one go for a few more days, to let it fully develop.

Okay people, here is my dry weight... I let these babies set on my fan rack for at least five days, to get ALL the moisture out of them so they will keep longer...
I stuffed 8 ounces into each gallon size ziploc bag... I have around 3 ounces in the smaller quantity bag, I already gave away 3 ounces for people to test and explore.
TOTAL DRY WEIGHT 24 ounces
Chew on some of these babies! your in for a long night of partying!
