yesterday my buddy was over and he was making some tartar sauce when he noticed mold growing on some pickles but i had just gotten the pickles a couple weeks prior and i thought when you pickle things it preserves them longer. any suggestions why this may have happened?
if they had been open for two weeks i could understand it, were the dill or sweet pickles? how much mold was there? also had they been drained or were they still in the pickle juice?
