can anyone give me some country artists (besides the staple Johnny Cash) that don't suck?

I like Shooter Jennings, and Lucero (which is alt/country) and earlier Ryan Adams (also kind of alt/country) You could also go for some Reverend Horton Heat (Rockabilly)
