i can gut blunts fairly well myself. if you grab a fresh one you can pretty much do anything you want to it.

i didnt say you couldnt split a stale blunt, all i said was that you can do anything you want to a fresh one. i mean, they dont rip they dont break, they dont poke through with stems, they are just all around amazing. where as stale blunts have the potential to not only not roll right, but they feel stiff, are weaker, taste worse. etc... thats all i was getting at
as well as vanilla dutchmasters/backwoods are what real blunts are rolled from

I'm a fan of the grape and strawberry dutchmaster as well. Ducthes are pretty much the only cigar blunts I like. There are some blunt wrap flavors that are nice although those burn too quickly and are not as good for large groups of people.
Wraps will never compare to a Dutch but they can still be enjoyable on occasion. A lot of these occasions are when the weed is not my own and I'm being smoked up, so I don't really give a damn. Still though, there are some awesome flavors you can't get with cigar blunts.

some wrap flavors are nice.... but they give you so much fucking paper. i usually end up ripping off a lot of the wrap and only using like 1/2 of it... i hate extra paper

Thats just one of my problems with blunt wraps. Too much paper and they tear wayy to easily. I have 1 more class today then I am coming back and ill be rolling another one
