 WTF is going on with 'The Lot' / Marketplace

To Whom it May Concern,
I have 2 questions.
The 1st one is in the title. The second is, 'Who the fuck made royer a mod and why'?
A marketplace would be a HUGELY beneficial area to the site, attracting new visitors, while improving things for us existing members.
It seemed like everything was on track until this Royer fellow (who the fuck is he and why is he a mod?) threw a wrench in the system.

Royer mods multiple forums at shroomery, including the marketplace. So he was chosen to mod this one too.
He had the idea to name the trading forum here something else so it could be different from the shroomery, so he started a thread looking for suggestions. Lots of people (not all) liked the name 'the lot'. So after 2 or 3 weeks he makes the poll to decide the name, and the lot is excluded from the poll because he didn't like it. Some people disagreed with his opinion, and complained. He locks the threads and dumps them.
That's all.

There's already a marketplace set up, you probably don't see it because of your reg. date.

Whoa bro, relax! There is a Marketplace here, but you have to meet certain time and post requirements before gaining access. I thought it was 2 weeks and 10 posts (in which case you should obviously be in the clear), but my information could be outdated, or perhaps there is a problem with our software. I'll ask our great techno gurus to look into it.
Edit: Qualifiers are 90 days / 50 posts.

My bad I thought I was a member sooner than i was. I was under the impression royer was holding up the lot for everyone. like him not liking the name 'the lot' was ruining shit for everyone.
my mistake.
but royer is still fucked for his other shenanigans.
