i am interested in the medicinal marijuana to help me sleep. as many times a week i cannot fall asleep. sometimes i fall asleep at the crack of dawn, only to fuck myself over.
if i get a reccomendation from my physician do i need to get a card as well?
i am very confused to how the process works.
is there a site that can tell me?

ps i am worried about the fact that i am a medical marijuana patient not being 100% confidential like my other medical records.

If you live in California, then you need a card to be officially legal.
Most of us don't have cards, but we smoke anyway.

If it's a legit medical deal, it'll be just as secure as all other medical records. Which is to say, pretty secure. It's federal law, they call it HIPAA.
