I Want a Grinder

What's the best grinder for the price?

Spacecase seems to be the industry standard. So I was thinking about getting either the original (link) or the scout, which includes a case (link).

What do you guys think?

Ive got a sharpstone and I love it.  Grinds nice, collects a good bit of kief and its sturdy.  I have heard great things about hte spacecase as well so I dont think you can really go wrong.  Those two are the best brands for grinders as far as I'm concerned

buy one on ebay, you can get a great spacecase like grinder for $10 shipped, i would link you but i'm lazy. if really interested i will find the one i bought which is really good. pm me though i rarely check the forums these days.

some people complain about ebay grinders saying the kief screen isn't as good, but mine is just as good or better than my friend spacecase and my other friends diamond grinder. i like it.

and if it doesn't last as long i can buy a few more for the price of a spacecase.

I looked up the SharpStones on ebay and they seem like affordable quality items, but now that I really think about it, the Space Case Scout seems like the best one for me. I'm leaving for school in two weeks, and as I've said before, I'm probably going to be smoking outside my room a lot, so I'll probably just grind up bud, store it in the scout, then go out to a chill spot, pack a bowl and I'm good to go.

Thanks for your help, guys. If I ever want a larger grinder, I'll probably get a SharpStone.

I haven't tried a kief catcher space case but I have a normal one.  I don't like how the teeth come together, it doesn't grind very evenly at all.  Chunks get stuck around the teeth and If you are trying to grind the weed up into a powder for vaping you have to empty and regrind several times to get the chunks out.

Best grinder I have by far is the plastic one that came with my volcano.  Grinds easily, evenly, and crap doesn't get stuck in/around its teeth.

hmm well the one you have is basically the same as the one i was gonna get. I thought that the scout might be portable enough to fit in my pocket, but it is 3.5 cm which is doable, yet not very concealable. I think a sharpstone at the same price would be a hell of a better grinder, considering it would have a klef catcher, and I wouldn't be surprised if it could fit nicely in my back pocket for my chief sessions outside.

how come the large is 15 dollars more for just .3 inches?!? :lol:

Check eBay. I got my Sharpstone Herb Grinder and Sharpstone Pollen Press for less than the price of the grinder alone at head shops around here.

Here is an example and a great deal.

I've seen the Pollen Press that comes with this grinder for sale at a local head shop for $65.

I guess it depends on how much you smoke and how much you would be grinding at any given time. I have one of the smaller ones that I bought from a headshop, then I bought one of the larger ones on eBay. I really enjoy having a bit more room. It's nice when you have bigger buds to grind up.

As far as quality goes, Sharpstone is awesome. Mine has never broken any teeth and its easy to take apart and clean out all the kief that collects in the edges. If you get the pollen press with it, then you can basically make your own small hash cakes when you get a collection of kief. :heart:

I tried ordering a Large SharpStone for $25 off eBay but the site has some error that I and the technical support can't figure out.

I'll have to try ordering again tomorrow. :shrug:

I have the same one as in that last picture, I got it for free with a vaporizer a while ago
