The Emperor Wears No Clothes

I never really got into this book, but I felt I had an obligation to check it out because it holds a certain place of regard among the Cannabis Community.
The style never really grabbed me and I'm not terribly interested in history. I'm more interested in now and what exists, what can be changed.
So I've picked it up from the library. Is it worth reading with all the literature on Cannabis since 1985? Did you enjoy it?

I have it, my mum got it for me for my birthday ha ha. I love it, really. Although it is obviously pro-pot the history is intact and there is a lot of useful information. Although the energy stuff might seem stupid it does shine a completely different light on pot and it's kept interesting with illustrations etc. I'm pretty sure they've updated it since 1985 but even still I think it belongs on the bookshelves of most stoners.

This is the problem with human beings, i believe ; there is an unwillingness to observe the past , so as to prevent us from repeating it. [if I am not mistaken the Websters definition of Insanity is " repeating something over and over again expecting different results"] You have " the edge " in this game if you already know whats going to come.

Yeah it's cool he put the text on his webpage. Honestly, I think it only contains 10% of its physical value. Because it's novel just to have it and the historical look and pictures really make it good.

I like to know historical trends and concepts to protect against the "repeating itself" warning. Regardless, I often think delving into the details too much is just for entertainment value. And the situation now is not entirely resemblant of previous eras before the 1900s.

Yeah "Jack Herer" is the best weed I've ever smoked. And I smoke a *lot* of weed.
My wife and I made some glycerin tincture with JH for 4/20 and we still have a ton left. It looks metallic with all the kief in the eyedropper. Like gold dust suspended in green slime. So good and *so* stony. I'm getting off topic.
Dude wrote a good book. He's updated the more recent versions, so read the website *as well* as that hard-copy book you've got.
