Has anybody ever used those sites like ancestry.com to view family history? Do you think it's worth the money to see how far back you can trace your bloodline?
I dunno, my last name is kind of unique and the thought of trying this is entertaining. What say you?
I did the free month on ancestry.com and traced my dad's side of the family back 16 generations to the France/Germany areas. I wouldn't want to pay for some novelty like that though unless you are on some kinda "discover yourself" journey.
Even then, it might be better to go out into the mountains or the desert and dose up on some mush in order to find yourself.

Yea its a lot of work if the trail isn't very clear...I eventually gave up bc there was no clear way to tell which person on generation 17 was the right person
