How precisely does my lighting have to match up to 12/12 for plants to flower? I estimate my timer might be off by 1/2 an hour to an hour. Should I try to undershoot or overshoot?

Keep vegging until new timer is in hand.
If you have already started flowering, then set an alarm to manually turn them on an off.
