It also helps that I have almost no history of seeing doctors. Prior to getting the infection I hadn't seen a doctor since 1997.

right on, it would take some serious shit over here to get bumped like that. If they started you on 10 mg ER's, you'd probably stay there for at least a few months until the tolerance effect kicked in. By that point they'd probably try to start weaning you off unless you were using it for severe pain management (in which case you probably wouldn't have been on the 10's anyway). You get the brand name purdue's right? I always loved getting the purdue's, no where near as harsh as the generics you see mainly over here.

I'm amazed they make those without acetaminophen.
There's no way you could get that here in the States (legally).

So why do they would allow oxycontin without acetaminophen, but they insist on adding acet. with hydrocodone ?

Because hydrocodone is not a top end analgesic, it's much more commonly prescribed and hence a lot more likely to be abused. Hydrocodone is also available mixed with Ibuprofen for people who cant take acetaminophen.
Also the combination's of drugs are supposed to provide better pain relief than singular substances.

ya I had some crazy visuals from heroin before because all I want to do is go to sleep but am afraid to do so, so while struggling i have some crazy hallucinations IDK if thats nodding though.
