I am growing artemisia vulgaris, I germinated the seeds in August last year. It was looking fabulous and extremely healthy until randomly the leaves went extremely soft and floppy. At first this would seem to be overwatering, however the soil is completely dry. The leaves are not dried out at all and seem water logged. I gave it water 4 days ago and since is has been looking even worse, yet the soil was completely dry and is now completely dry again (from top to bottom). The roots haven’t fully stretched in the pot either, so it doesn’t need more space.
Any ideas?
Edit: I also forgot to add, it’s much worse at the bottom. The top few leaves of the plant are looking fine

2 days ago I put it into a much bigger pot just to see if it helped. I didn't think it would do that much though. I looked at the roots and I'm happy to say that there is no root rot. However after 2 days of its new pot, it is almost back to how it used to look!! It looks gorgeous now.
