Anyone else try this?
It is a brilliant way of vaporizing shatter without needing a rig, torch gun, or dab straw.
You simply place some shatter in an oil burner pipe (meth pipe aka pizzo) then heat it from below with a micro torch lighter.
When vapor begins to form, you inhale!
This method I have found to be the best ROA for ingesting shatter.
I even have a fancy oil burner bubbler which can be filled with water and the bowl piece heated from below like an ordinary oil burner to vaporize the shatter.
I wonder why more people don't do this?
It works excellently.
You can also vaporize hashish in one of these oil burner pipes very nicely.

CRITICAL UPDATE: Do NOT use a micro-torch lighter to vape shatter in an oil burner pipe, a regular, standard Bic Lighter will work perfectly.
Just make sure to touch the surface of the glass (the bottom) with the Bic flame.
This is the supreme method of vaporizing ANYTHING.
Shatter, Sugar, Wax, Crumble, Rosin, Live Resin, Diamonds, Hash, weed, ANYthing.

I made a bunch of oil pipes for myself when I crafted Glass Pipes.
They are slightly bigger than a DMT pipe.
If I ever get the juice again I'm going to try vaping out of glass!

It's obvious to me you haven't even ever tried vaping dabs with an oil burner pipe, otherwise you would not be saying this.
Not getting the pipe hot enough is absolutely never an issue, even a complete novice does it right their first time.
Same with getting it too hot, it simply is not an issue whatsoever.
Maybe give it a try first before talking shit about it, and see for yourself that it is the supreme method of vaporization of any substance?

I used to make glass pipes and made a bunch of oil pipes.
I passed out three times torching oil out of glass.
It's funky yo. You lose motor control and go down slow and drop the hot glass with the torch blasting.
It's not quite like passing out. It's a serious head rush that rushes you a bit too far out.
I like smoking flowers through a nice bong.

I’ve tried using a method like that before, and it definitely works well for shatter. The micro torch and oil burner pipe setup is surprisingly effective and simple. I also had a go with a best e rig and found it a bit more convenient for home use, as it heats evenly and doesn’t require a torch. The water filtration on some e rigs also makes a big difference in smoothness. It’s interesting to see how different methods can work so well for vaporizing. If you’re happy with the oil burner, that’s awesome, but if you want to try something new, the e rigs are worth a look too.

Oil burner pipes DO NOT REQUIRE A TORCH EITHER.
Just heat the bottom of the glass with a regular Bic lighter, letting the flame touch the glass the whole time you vaporize the shatter.
It's the BEST method of vaping shatter there is.
And you can heat and vaporize the shatter evenly in a glass oil burner pipe, you just have to know what you are doing.
