so my first attempt to case 2 pf cake jars in a tin baking tray. i pulled out of incubator after 4 days, maybe too long. all my casing has been colonized. i just read a thread saying i should have pulled it out after first signs of mycelium coming through. can i save this by scratching?? maybe crumbling it all again and re-casing? any help would be awesome. or a link to another thread. im sure this question is asked a lot.

Do you have a pic?
It sounds like you should just leave it alone, a true casing layer is peat/verm applied after coir has colonized and only used with PE varieties.
