You get use to it. Worst part for me was when I got 3 for 1. For every 1 day I was locked up I got 3 days credit. Thing is, I always had to work the kitchen which was trash. We always got extra trays, but making 1000s of bologna sandwich with mustard a day fucking sucked!

I get 3x my wages if I work holidays and I'm always like  when I do 
Edit: my friend and I figured it out and it's like $54 per hour
