I'm predicting 2022 will be the year I finally commit to being sober from everything except for psychedelics, been slowly weaning down for years. I'll probably allow myself a booze binge one or two nights a year on special occasions. It's something I've needed to do for awhile but I have to just find a way to hold myself accountable


I predict my wife's Canadian citizenship that she applied for over a year ago will finally come through, and we'll be a step closer to having a solid backup plan in case America's current course to destruction decides to accelerate.


Lastly, I predict growery will achieve greatness :omgawesome:

I feel this may happen for me as well. I've been cutting down on drinking and smoking for a while now, developed some better eating habits, weened off of my heavy caffeine use. Hoping to quit drinking entirely, and maybe try to get where a caffeinated drink is a fun treat rather than a morning necessity.

Im one week away from being 12 months sober and i wasnt even planning on going that long. Originally i wanted to do a season and i saw how much money i was saving and felt great so kept going.

I predict I will move to the uk next year.gonna talk to HR sometime between Saturday and Monday to try to get the ball rolling on transferring there as they have a couple companies there.(I'd most likely be going to Birmingham I think)

Might want to start applying for a visa or whatever you'll need now, things are crazy backed up right now. My wife's citizenship paperwork for canada is 15 months out now and still being processed, a friend's UK work permit is at 9 months with no word

Well at the very least, you said it yourself you know India still uses a caste system. I used to know a guy that ran an asian restaurant, white guy, he was the chef, the fucked up part was once a year theyd fly over to somewhere like Myanmar and find cheap illiterate prostitutes people in desolation like that and then bring them here for an even shittier life abusing work programs and whatnot, most of the time they don't speak English and they only barely know some weird asian mountain dialect language so no one would understand them even if they told someone. I remember this one girl they had her living in their house and they didn't pay her at all she didn't even keep all her tips. They had her thinking she was livin' large. I don't understand how the fuck the guy isn't in prison but he's like one in a hundred too. It's sad shit. Amazon and Walmart do it too with their offshore warehouse ops.
