I have seen it once and vaguely remember the rigs they had for flying through the air. I’m not sure if there are multiples but the one I saw, the giants were fuckin strange man. Slightly disturbing. I don’t remember how it ended, did any Mexicans get into the city?

I agree that Trump is an asshat. I would probably be one of those people that XUL would lump into the "globalist" blanket term for my political ideology.
I know that illegal immigration is a problem in America, but I think a Wall at the border is kind of a giant, expensive busy project that won't really solve the problem. It kinda reminds me of the far left's position about banning firearms somehow preventing violent crime...they are oversimplified solutions for complex issues like illegal immigration or violent crime. Just my opinion of course 
Having said that, I think he did sign in the First Step Act, which I 100% agree with. Working to reduce the incarcerated population in America, and working to reduce the justice system's effect of completely ruining a person's chance of having a normal job or lifestyle after a round through prison will always be a good thing. I think it's already resulted in several thousand prisoners being released due to reevaluation of their crimes and their subsequent behavior.
Ok, I said something good about Trump...I'm gonna go take a shower.

yes, but that wasnt trump. he did not come up with that on his own. this was not a solo idea he came up with while combing his hair. he came in after all the hardships...
thats kinda like saying guy B can take credit for building this car from ground up even though all he did was put gas into the tank after guy A spent months building on it.

Very true, but he had the power to veto, so it kinda bottlenecks through his administration.
That being said, it was a bipartisan effort, so his veto probably wouldn't stand for much other than he could take absolutely no credit for it.
So your approach to analogy would be more accurate by labeling guy B the final QA inspector for the assembly line, and instead of guy A, there's guy A and C thru Z working various steps on the rest of the assembly line. The vehicles don't make it to the road if they don't pass QA and so successful vehicle builds deserve him some credit, but I agree it also doesn't make sense for guy B to take all the credit for guys A and C thru Z's work.
I'm not arguing whether or not Trump's trying to take all of the credit for the First Step Act, nor whether he's still an ass for trying to do so. I'm just saying there is one good thing that he can take a bit of credit for.
