Monitoring Temperature and Humidity

I would like to be able to monitor the canopy temperature and humidity inside a 3 x 3 x 5-1/4 tent remotely. Does anyone know of a cheap sensor/receiver combination that will take the rigors of being inside this kind of setup and is accurate enough for these purposes?

Remotely in the same house, or over the internet? I've seen DIY builds (arduino, raspberry pi) pop up on reddit from time to time, seems that would be the best bang for your buck if you really wanted to customize it.

I'm looking for something not too sophisticated that's commercially available. As far as programmable systems go, my code writing days are behind me and I don't want to lose my babies to a function error, lol. Totally in house so a range of 50 to 100 meters is good.

Plenty available at harware stores. Used for outside weather prob alot cheaper off amazon or ebay record min and maxes. Cool but really wiser more fun just to go check if ur in ur house. Many brands styles available so just go ahead and try google.

DIY arduino is ~$30. I ordered one a few months ago but didn't get around to taking it out of the package yet. Standard min/max/humidity with wired outdoor temperature probe will do you fine. You'll stop checking it pretty soon after you get the feel for it. The indoor/outdoor are good to get an idea of the top/bottom temperatures of the tent.
My low tech thermometer is a gallon of coconut oil. When its liquid and clear its getting a bit too hot.
