 Top buds drying out first

When I hang my plants to dry, the top buds always dry out much sooner than the rest of the plant. Right now I've got one hanging for three days, and the top buds are already crispy, but most of the plant still feels like it's got days to go. What should I do? I'm worried that if I wait, the top buds will have dried out too much...

Well if it's dried, cut it off, trim it and jar it

Check out my cure technique and see if that helps.
Basically you have to find that perfect balance between hanging them up for a few days, breaking them down over another few while they equalize moisture and slowly work the buds dry over another few weeks.
When your humidity is very low your plants will dry out faster. If your having issues of your buds drying too fast then use some sort of barrier/container/cabinet to create a micro-climate to slow the release of moisture, while also balancing air-flow to prevent mold.
