I currently go threw a lot of silkworms for my reptiles in the summer months because the mulberry trees are in bloom and thats all the silkworms eat. Feeding lots of silkworms equals lots of frass (poop) and I was wondering if anyone else had tried using frass particularly silkworm frass. I have been growing organic for the past 3 seasons now and truly love the idea of growing organic for medication. Here is a 3 week old girl out doors with its first dose of silkworm frass as a top feeding. Im going to add about 2 table spoons ever 2 weeks and post the results until harvest time. Please post any questions or comments

DAY 27
I toopped her at the 4th node and looks like she is recovering nicely. Still giving it a dose of silkworm castings as a top dressing every 2 weeks. The temps here have been in the low 100's all week so dealing with the heat is always a challenge

I am interested to know how well your plant did growing outdoors in a desert climate. I have a peculiar conceptualization about deserts.
