Hell yeah!
Is tamales a big thing over there? This year my chick is making tamales and im making gumbo.

I had an intense gumbo addiction while serving time just outside of Louis Anna. Yeah it started with a bowl, next it was two.. It became to the point I couldnt get enough bowls. It was never enough. I would multi dose with buttered bread, heavy bread. My people always wondered why I was passed out on the couch, I would leave the tv on by accident..
Next thing you know, Im checking markets, looking up how to make my own gumbo, it got out of control man.. I had the lab ware, fucking crock pots, a stove, bowls. I even had spoons, big spoons..
Next thing I know my kids are doing it. I said "HOW DID YOU LEARN THIS?", and they said "from you dad, I learned it from watching YOU!"..
That's when I knew I had a problem..
We relocated, the doctors put me on Dinty Moore beef stew, it sucked but it held down the cravings. Eventually I got on homestyle chicken noodle.
This hurts just to talk about it, but if it helps one person.
Anyways, 5 years later, I'm proud to say, I'm soup free. I AM soup free. i beat the demon. Just talking about it is exhausting..
