How long do male plants produce pollen?
P.S. for those who shitpost "depends on the strain" can just simply name the strain.

For a 3 to 4 weeks plant produced pollen actively, later it just stopped doing much. Strain - northern lights, the plant was small since it was male (was in small pot etc), though it was plenty enough for hobo breeding.
I suppose the bigger plant, the more pollen, and perhaps even longer period of pollen production (since more balls).
Also, the male was living under 12/12 light schedule.

good info.
Depends not on the strain really but the type. Sounds like you had a mostly indica version of the Lights. Mainly sativa strains that take 11 to 13 weeks to flower have males that drop pollen for a much longer period of time. The you have the bitch sativas like Thai that have buds that mature at different times over the flowering period the males of that strain tend to drop pollen during the entire flowering period since they also mature at different times.

Actually I was thinking about the same thing.
Btw, I mentioned plants' size for a reason, since I've noticed that the bigger plants are, the more time they take to flower in general since they have more branches, except if it's sog or something similar, since if it's not sea of green, the lower branches/buds don't get as much light and flower much slower (or the beginnings of the branches).
At least that's how it goes with my own hybrid strain which is really mixed up genetically, though the plant itself is p. much stable, all look more or less the same and it's also the only strain I managed to get big since I grew it outdoors (had no other strain at the time).
