I was wondering how you guys and girls treat your seed plants when it comes to harvest. Should I just let it go til she brown?

By seedplant do you mean a plant used for cultivating a ton of seeds or a plant grown from seed?
Trichomes for a plant for bud, indica = 25% amber sativa = mostly cloudy, 0-10% amber depending on how energetic you want the bud.
If growing seeds, you can really let the plant take it's time. Chimera let's his plants mature much longer than you would for bud use. I usually just pollinate a branch or two when I make seeds and chop when I would for buds, the seeds are mostly viable.

It's all good I know I was vague. My goal is to get the most mature seeds I can.

You can easily flower the plant for an extra 20-30 days.
Chimera flowers his plants extra long when producing seeds.
They will be viable within the normal harvest window though.
