Searched and there aren't any usenet threads here. Since most of my threads are borderline (yes, only borderline) useless, I may as well make one that both others and myself can use.
However, I'm not up to the point where I'm going to contribute to the thread - primarily because I don't know crap about usenet.
It seems, to me, like you can upload shit to big servers and post links, from which others can download.
But you need a client.
Does anyone recommend any free way to get started? Something simple, or failing that, something complicated, but still free?

Get a demo copy of Forte Agent and find a crack for it. It's probably the best usenet client out there, IMHO.
