Thanks, I'm still learning how to get good macro shots. The photo's don't do it justice really, what you see and what you get are two different things because of the white balance offset to take natural-color photos under the LED. I like the way that the different color LED's start to show up when the buds are close to the light. I think that one might have just been an inch or two below the diodes.
I need a good fill light from underneath to light up the more intricate parts of the buds without massive shadowing, but without washing out the photo with too much light. Plus a good tripod to keep the thing steady, its easy to get out of focus on macro shots. Plus the macro extension tubes eliminate the jitter correction on the lens.

Beautiful shots man. What kind of camera are you using? I would love to get some good shots like that of my grows but I dont trust anyone in the room except me LOL

Cannon T3i Rebel. Got a cheap macro tube (just moves the camera away from the lens) and a few cheap macro lenses to work with. I've been wanting to take some nugs out into the sunlight and get some really good nature shots but I've been lagging.
