Need help with my DWC...Please advise *PICS*
    #745702 - 08/30/14 02:03 PM (9 years, 6 months ago)

Hey all! I am in my fourth week of bloom and my DWC was going strong until I switched fert from grow to bloom. When I switched from grow to bloom, I severely burned the plant. Ever since then, I have flushed the reservoir and have maintained nute levels at a low 600 ppm. The ph is usually around 5.5, this morning it was 5.1. As you can see in the pictures, the plan is trying to recover from the original burn. Should I trim these off or how can I assist the plant in recovering? Should I keep the ppm low or bring up to a regular level for this stage of bloom? Some of the new leaves are being born burnt as well. Please advise on these and any suggestions on feeding would be welcomed. This is my first DWC grow so I'm still experiencing the learning curve. Thanks in advance!

Well if the new growth is continuing to burn, you need to drop the PPM level even further.  Switch out the water and replace with plain water, with a pH of 5.8.  Let that be in there for 24 hours, then replace the water again.  Bring the PPM up to about 300 and see how it responds to that.  You could go even lower to be on the safe side in all honesty.

What was your PPM before you switched to the flowering nutes, and what was it at when you originally burned it.
