I am a gun enthusiast for sure. I would take those 40s in a second, but I too got rid of my 40.
My father was in Vietnam and he left me his M-1 Garand and his M-1 Carbine along with a slew of other rifles and pistols. Even a Colt 1911 (.45). All original. I have bought a few on my own as well, most recent being my M-11, its like an UZI. or a tech nine or some shit. 32 round mags and setup for that bang bang.
I definitely like my 2nd amendment, too bad people label gun lovers as backwoods redneck hunters and crazy vets. Fuck em.
Good to see someone else protecting their own.

Dude I am all about some Peace. But to be honest, if we were comparing ourselves to famous people.....I am no Bob Marley, I'm a Peter Tosh. "We cant have no peace until all men have equal rights and justice." There is nothing comforting in a false notion of peace.
It sucks that we take such a huge risk being gun owners and growers. Its like an automatic felony here. Growing is too, but your life gets so much shittier when the PO PO finds a firearm along with a grow.
What the fuck? Can growers not protect themselves and their family?
Although its a risk, its a risk worth taking.
Case in point....
About 2 years ago I lived in an apartment on an upper level. My jailbird cousin got out of prison and was on a "warpath" or whatever because he was a paranoid schizo who would snap and kill someone in a moments notice.....and he has. Where I live murder happens, but it happens in the mountains where the city cops wont go and the neighbors cant hear you.
Fuck off point. Anyway he ended up showing up at my apartment at about 3am. My son was in bed and me and the wife were in the bedroom, she was asleep, but I was up getting some work done. I start hearing shit moving outside and look out and see my cousin with a flashlight looking around outside my place.
I just turned off the computer and figured he would leave.....no.
I heard him trying to pick the lock or break in the back door. I grabbed my 12 gauge Remington (sawed-off and pistol grip) and swung open the door and put the shotgun in his face asking him what he was doing. I seen he had a bowie knife in his pants in the front which tripped me out. He flipped out and started yelling at me saying I wouldn't shoot him and all that.
WHen it comes to the protection of my wife and kids, I don't care who has to die. ANyway he tried calling my bluff so I shot a shell off right next to his head. Prolly about a foot to a foot and a half away from his ear. He dropped to the ground screaming so I grabbed his knife.
Long story short; I sat out on the front balcony with him facing away from me and my shotgun in his back until the police came. The 5-0 thanked me for not shooting him and causing a bigger issue and took him back to jail. I got called about a day or two later asking if I wanted to press charges and I just said no, but tell him next time he comes around my family the coroner will be picking him up.
Needless to say I haven't seen him since then. He was a bad dude. He raped my niece when she was 6 years old and took his wife and had her selling herself for food for the baby just cause he didn't want to have a real job. Fucking loser.
And people think potheads are the bane of society.lol.
Sorry that shit was long as hell.
