Mr beer kit ftw
I had good beer from that brand. I like the Oktoberfest.I have some southern German beer fermemtring atm.

picklez go to a brew store and buy all fresh hops and shit. I will tell you its way better then the kits and you will get more pride from it. The home brew shops will have everything you need to make a fine ass beer so why bother with some cheap ass kit garbage that aint no better then MB.

That's what I was figuring but having never done it before, or even started to research about it, I really didnt know
Thanks for the advice... I got some homework to do next time I have an hour or two to kill at the library after work

Fucking what. Mr. Beer kit for the goddamn lose. Those are literally the absolute lowest quality beer you can make at home.

Word. Malt extract is good if you want to do minimal research (which seems to be the case in this thread), but all grain is the "true" brewing experience.
