Because mimosa has the highest concentration. I could use grass trimmings if I wanted to. But the return would be miniscule. And mimosa isn't against the law either. People use it for cosmetic purposes.

Mimosa Hostillis is not controlled in the united states. It's just hard to find sources lately because of customs being assholes and vendors stopping selling it because its reaching a taboo level of awareness on what people use it for n they dont want the hassle it brings.

Ugggghhh, pretty sure all of what u described is due to the fact it's now scheduled in a manner it was not before.

Consequently, many orders now get seized.

Sure vendors still sell it tho

Not sure why ud wanna mess w it tho. Acacia is much easier and it can be harvested sustainably if u get it from the right the right vendor in Taiwan... only the Taiwan climate can provide a sustainable harvest of acacia

Q21q21's lime tek is what I've heeeaaaarrdd works great w acacia

Ive been reading nexus recently, people are getting double the yield almost of what you have here by adding salt.  Also not sure you added enuff hydroxide.  Most people are 50/50ing hydroxide and adding 30g table salt per 50g mhrb because it increases yields a lot and decreases emulsion.

May I ask what a HDPE water jug is?
U think a clear plastic Poland Springs gallon bottle would work fine?
Or what type of plastic is safest? As I've heard the chems could eat away the rubber ring on jars...  What do u use exactly?
I just got a fresh kilo of bark n tryna do a big batch pull instead of little ones I'm done messing around, gotta feed the hungry. :vaped:

HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) containers usually have a Resin Identification Code embossed somewhere on the container. The code is 2 for HDPE.

Also, all thermoplastics have some unreacted monomers and antioxidants left over in trace amounts. Additionally, HDPE is more chemically resistant than polypropylene labware, but can't be autoclaved. Still, it's chemical resistance is limited to "some organic solvents".

Honestly, as long as you arent heating your nonpolar solvents when adding to the jug, then you'll minimize leaching. But since this method calls for heating, I would suggest using a glass growler in place of the milk jug, and possibly try to avoid using a plastic syringe if you can figure out an alternative way to transfer the solvent out.

That should be fine.

Btw I suggest using glass too. I bought some glass syringes off eBay for under $10.

How do I know if the tubing I have is good for this? It's thick and clear,  I took it off the air pump for my hydro system.
Also I wonder how a freeze pre-op would work with this as the not waste q much naphtha?
